  • Our Caring School has a warm and positive climate where all (pupils) feel challenged and supported to succeed. It is also a place where we act with kindness and compassion, and develop caring relationships with one another.
  • As Creative Thinkers, we display originality in ideas, imaginativeness in work and novelty in approach to solving problems (doing things). We are Life-long Learners who love to learn, reflect and share. We seek to improve and continue to grow.
  • We work together with shared objetives (to build consensus to reach a decision or creat a product), and are jointly zccredited for the ork competed when Collaborating Interdependently. We complement one another and develop mutual trust and respect for diverse skills and knowledge. Never Quitting is our spirit as we persevere and maintain a purpose in all things that we undertake in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement and continue steadfastly.

Leader in Chinese Language and Sports

The two COE for the South Zone in Pei Chun spearhead innovative programmes to make the teaching and learning of Chinese Language and sports relevant, engaging and stimulating for pupils. These centres serve as the hub for teachers in the South Zone to network, brainstorm and share ideas and good practices. The school also shares its expertise and resources readily to enable other schools to level up their performance and takes the leading role to encourage active mass participation of pupils in the South Zone. As the school positions itself as the leader in the teaching and learning of Chinese Language and sports, it is also constantly learning from best practices of the other educational institutions and driving innovations among teachers to achieve excellence.

Culture of Excellence

The school promotes innovation and constantly challenges itself to seek breakthroughs in its quest to achieve success. School Leaders lead the way to continual improvement for excellence by actively creating a learning environment. Staff and pupils are encourages to initiate, innovate and embark on practices to bring about enriching school experiences for all. There are also abundant opportunities for pupils to develop and showcase their talents. This has created a vibrant school culture that harnesses the potential of both staff and pupils to achieve excellence in all their endeavours.

Supportive Stakeholders and Committed Staff

Key stakeholders such as the School Management Committee, Alumni, Parent Support Group and the community have given their unreserved support and played a key role in the development of pupils. Recognising their shared interest in, and responsibility for pupils, they helped raised funds to build the Heritage Loft and the $3 million New Sports Hall. This is indicative of how the school has successfully harnessed its partnerships with stakeholders.

The strong and visible leadership focuses on staff well-being and pupil outcomes, and empowers staff to strive for excellence in all areas. The staff in turn demonstrate strong commitment to propel the school forward to achieve higher goals. They have a strong sense of devotion to the care of pupils and are exemplary in their support for one another. The collegial culture among the staff facilitates professional development and sharing of ideas and best practices. Pei Chun values its staff and galvanizes them to contribute to the school collectively.
